Calgary Medal Night

Remember that time the Calgary Marathon ran out of medals?  Well.  They made it up to us with a fantastic event at Cold Garden.  The smoke even cleared so we could have a sunny warm evening.  Probably not so warm for RD Kirsten who ended up in cold water several times.

It’s a beautiful setting, I always enjoyed visiting with the Beer Run.  Sigh, I miss that one. 

Easiest finish line I ever crossed. 

People were quite enthusiastic about dropping the RD in the tank. 

She was in fact, attracting quite a large crowd. 

On top of the beer glass, medal, revenge on the RD and free drink, Calgary Marathon kindly offered 25% off next years race.  Be rude not to take them up on that.
