Therapy for my Scattered Brain

My addled head is all over the place right now.  Trips, work, running, credit line, races, landscaping, all the things.  Most of those are fun things, but I've hit overload point.

In August I am going back home to Scotland for a visit, and as luck would have it Icelandair offered a free stopover in Reykjavick on the way back.  Since we have 2 part days and 1 full day I figured we'd choose something spectacular and drive to it.  That thing is....

Jökulsárlón lagoon


What I didn't realize is how stunning the 4.5 hours drive to it would be.





Planning this little 4.5 hour drive is making me so happy right now.  Breathe.....

    GORGEOUS!! I'm heading to Scotland at the end of the month (on Icelandair!) and on the way over am stopping in Reykjavik. So far on the roster we have the Blue Lagoon and then a "Golden Circle" tour. Are you renting a car for your 4.5 hour drive? Love the photos you've shared...makes me excited to go!

      Awesome!! We are renting a car, the route was between the Golden Circle and Jokulsarlon. In the end there is a possibility of seeing Puffins with the coast road so it won out! We are hoping to visit Blue Lagoon on the afternoon we arrive :) Can't wait to see your pics!
