Leaving on a Jet Plane

We are packing!!  This is just the race stuff (to which I've added lip balm & headlamps in the last 10 mins).  Yes, I do need a picture of Wayne Newton.  I'm planning on decorating our base camp (ie. chair) a little bit.

Race strategy

Very simple:

• Go to Las Vegas
• Keep moving forward

Seriously, that's it.  I want to keep going for 12 hours rather than concentrate on a distance goal.  Pace?  Meh!  I'm in Las Vegas doing my first 12 hour race, I want to enjoy this!

Fear

I am terribly worried I'll turn into a gigantic bitchmonster.  Kind of like the half hour I had during the 50k but for a much longer period.  I should get a T-shirt printed with SORRY on it.  

This is a legitimate concern people!
